Letter from our Finance Committee

Posted on March 23, 2020 in: General News

Dear Parishioners:

First and foremost, we hope you and your family are safe, healthy, and adhering to our government’s direction to safeguard you and others in our community. We are in uncharted territory for sure.

While we cannot get together as a Catholic Community, technology provides us the opportunity to still participate in mass through our TV’s and other social media means. While we hope this will run its course soon, we don’t know when we will be able to get together again. We need your prayers, and we still have bills to pay and are asking you to continue your contributions. Additionally, since we had to cancel the Fish Fries, which were a major fund raiser for us, any additional offerings you could make or would have made – would be greatly appreciated.

We have several ways for you to do this:

  • Mail them directly to the Parish Office
  • Drop them off at the Parish Office
  • Call the Parish Office and you can make your contribution via credit card
  • Make electronic contributions to St. Matthias through the Archdiocesan website (several of you do this already; if you need instructions, call the Parish Office for help)

Thanks and prayers to you all,

The St. Matthias Finance Council
