In 2019, St. Matthias Parish will be celebrating 60 years of service to the church and the people of  Mehlville. An Anniversary Committee is planning many ways to celebrate this important achievement. 

In the past we have celebrated parish anniversaries by planning pilgrimages to Catholic shrines around the United States and the world. That tradition will continue for our 60th anniversary with a pilgrimage to the Catholic shrines of Poland. 

Just one of the famous shrines to be visited will be the Black Madonna of Josna Gora located in Chestochova, Poland. 

The planned dates for this pilgrimage will be October 8-17, 2019.
